  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • ¼ cup Shortening
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 ½ cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ⅓ cup Bisquick
  • ⅓ cup Brown Sugar,Packed
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Or Margarine,Firm

Directions

[Note: 9x9" square cake]
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a square 9x9" baking pan. Mix
shortening, sugar and egg thoroughly. Stir in milk. Measure flour by
dip level - pour method or by sifting. Blend dry ingredients - stir in.
Spread batter in pan. Sprinkle with streusel topping recipe above.
Bake 25-35 minutes or until toothpick stuck in center comes out clean.
