Ingredients
- 4 eggs, separated
- 2 cups flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ⅓ cups milk
- 6 tablespoons butter or margarine

Directions
Combine dry ingredients.
In separate bowl, mix egg yolks, milk and butter.
Add to dry ingredients, beat until smooth. Will be thick.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold beaten egg whites into batter.
Bake in pre-heated belgian waffle iron until brown and crisp.
Light and fluffy, but very filling. Makes 12 waffles.
